Rapid Fired Pizza:
Offers Quick, Gourmet Pizza Made to Your Liking
Since opening in September 2017, business has been booming for Rapid Fired Pizza, located at 852 S. Main St. It’s become a popular choice among students who not only want the speed of Subway, but also the visually appeal of watching your meal being made to order such as at Chipotle. Rapid Fired Pizza can get a thin crust pizza out of the oven in 180 seconds; as the restaurant’s name implies, their whole business model is based upon quick service and turnaround of an order. Even pan crust pizza takes only about five minutes.
“Delivery is becoming extremely popular and our sales have grown exponentially week after week.” To adapt to the growing business, Rapid Fired Pizza has implemented a number of new measures such as a call center to ensure customers are not rushed when placing their orders. “We have had to add personnel, phones, and coolers in order to adapt to the business,” said Wiley.
The Bowling Green store is a 4,500 square-foot facility that can seat up to 100 customers. Customers can choose a variety of sizes and styles including an 11-inch thin crust or a nine-inch pan pizza, with choices of eight sauces, eight cheeses, and over 30 toppings, and 14 dipping sauces to build their own personal pizza. RFP also has 10 craft pizzas on the menu. Customers can also order craft or custom salads in addition to breadsticks and desserts.
Without any coupons or deals, a nine-inch crafted pizza or custom pizza is $7.50. The 10 crafted pizzas offered are classic recipes with an additional twist. For example, their recipe for a cheese pizza includes mozzarella, cheddar jack, blue, goat, Parmesan and feta cheeses. Any craft pizza can be specially ordered, or customers can create a unique pizza of their own. Recent additions besides deliver service, has also been a new 14-inch size pizza and a “Mac Daddy” pizza featuring macaroni and cheese.
While the delivery service is currently the newest addition, Rapid Fired Pizza also has plans to add on a self-serve craft beer station that will allow customers easier access to their list of craft beers, wines and ciders exceeding 25. “We have plans to be the first restaurant in the state of Ohio to install the iPourit beer tap system within the next few months,” he said. “This system lets the customer pour small or large amounts of any craft beer on the wall in order to try out the selection.
